Claire Thefaine

I graduated in 2019 from UNC-Chapel Hill where I worked in the lab of Helen Lazear studying the role of interferon gamma in congenital Zika syndrome. After a one year post-bac fellowship at the NIH, I joined the MICaB program. I am now studying the inflammatory signals that make for a long-lasting LLEC population. When not in lab (or sometimes in lab) you might find me crocheting, knitting, or advocating for sustainable modes of transportation.
