Erin Lucas
I completed my bachelor’s degree in biotechnology in 2015 from Montana State University, and then moved to Denver for graduate school. My thesis focused on the role of PD-L1 in regulation of lymphatic endothelial cell and dendritic cell immune responses. I graduated from the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus with a PhD in Immunology in 2021. I then moved to Dr. Hamilton Hart’s laboratory for my postdoctoral work and am currently focused on how models of chronic inflammation, including pet-shop mouse cohousing and aging, impact the memory CD8 T cell compartment. When not in the lab I can be found hiking, skiing, and snuggling my cats on the couch with a good book.
